I haven't seen the fertility data presented in this way before---from this chart, there's an argument that the fertility rate is not down, but rather the marriage rate is down.

The chart from number 4 on this list is interesting. I would rather have people say they don’t have a clue than throwing a random percentage thinking that a random percentage means “estimated”. When you’re estimating something in percentage, it means you actually have a percent figure that is calculated using available data. You calculate it in a context where presenting the exact number is not necessary.
