B! This is a great article. I'm a senior at Duke, funny enough, and lived in Bassett on East Campus during freshman year. Any chance that's where you were?! Thanks again for sharing your experiences, what works, and why.
Wow! Pegram is right across from Bassett, so I can sympathize with the long walk to the bus stop. What a small world. That's a neat history of William Pegram -- the line "After the end of the Civil War, Pegram walked back to North Carolina, and decided to pursue an education" is funny. Must've been a long walk!
B forever and ever. This feels like one of the longer posts you’ve written. But it reads really smoothly. Good reminder that we’re always renegotiating ie evolving, whether with others or ourselves. It’s a beautiful dance.
Would love to hear how it goes. My husband is planning our next vacation, and I am bracing myself for multiple outdoorsy activities per day. I will grumble silently, but we would not have it any other way.
Awesome lesson/technique for life and work! (And definitely B!!!)
Great read, thank you for being so transparent. Sharing with my partner.
So much wisdom in this article. My favorite: "That’s because kids are like water. They find the cracks between you and wear you down."

I was at Pegram next to Baldwin Auditorium, which at the time was the furthest from the bus stop. I stopped by recently to visit.

B is the only way! At least we didn't have to negotiate that.
This post came out longer than I expected, but turns out I had a lot to say on the topic.
But this post was much needed and it's really penned down very beautifully 😊
This is very insightful and timely!
awesome reading! I go with B now the I own the house (used to be C of course)
It’s great to see an example from a lawyer about negotiating not arguing.
Enjoyed reading this. Shared this with my partner as well. I guess weekend we are set for the same discussion.

For sure 😊
