It's fascinating how our childhood experiences, often dismissed as irrelevant to our adult lives, can leave such a profound imprint on our identities and behaviors. I've often wondered about the subtle ways my own upbringing shaped my career choices and relationships. It's a humbling reminder that we're all carrying around a piece of our past, influencing our present in ways we may not even realize.
+1. And another reason they shouldn’t be dismissed is because they reveal wiring that is both the asset to how we operate today as adults, and potentially the limiter at the same time.
I love this. It's surely not talked about much. I've found that a lot of people really need that outside perspective AND the permission to do something about it.
Katia sounds like a wonderful and uniquely talented coach, someone who can be a real asset to anyone facing a mental block in their development (unknown or unknown). Being able to dig deep like this requires a certain tact and insightfulness that is rare. Very neat.
As typical, I so look forward to reading this piece! Thanks, Ms. Liu~

Great list for reflecting about 2024 and what we want for 2025.
- Map your 2024 Year in Review
- Choose what you will take with you in 2025.
- Write a letter to yourself from December 31, 2025
But I would add replying the letter as if yourself from Dec 2025 or even further.
Writing to ourselves from today as if we were someone from the future adds the benefit of self compassion.
As typical, I so look forward to reading this piece! Thanks, Ms. Liu~
