I might, might I say... enhance this article by adding, "Try your best to create a Win-Win [and] WIN situation! You, the one from whom you're asking the favor AND also any others that can and should benefit from the encounter!

I've just had a difficult family situation with respect to "asking for a favour".

Although you didn't write about it, what's your take on asking for a favour via text or phone call?

Also, I loved this "Asking for favors, even small ones, can be intimidating, but taking the right approach can make the process easier—and boost your odds of getting that “yes."
