I am a recovering "put my head down and get things done" person. I now realize that you have to deliver the numbers and then connect to amplify your team's work. It has made a huge difference.
A lot of times growing up and early in my career, I felt like I could be the wallflower in whichever group I wanted. It took a long time for me to self-actualize and feel like I could contribute to a group instead of just be a part of it. Really liked this post.
