I loved this point - “ Instead of having a fixed goal where you are either on track or off track, focus on doing more of something or less of something.”

This is a great way to encourage ourselves to continue working on our goals and not give up if we are not able to achieve it entirely the first time we attempt it.

The relationship you have with your elliptical is such a vivid and impressive example of successfully building habit. I thought of it today before getting on the treadmill for my set of resolutions. Thank you!

Congrats on taking the first step! The next one is to knock down all barriers and excuses to work out. I am going to write a more in depth post about this, but basically, I can do a 30 min workout in 35 minutes (45 min including a shower). The key is consistency. Let me know how it goes.

The example of using the elliptical machine, by a mother who hates working out, to get the youngest to sleep shows that the love of a mother is just boundless....a very heartwarming and memorable story!

Thank you for your kind words. I still use the same workout machine every night, but now share it with my two daughters.
